November 2018 - This month we launched an exciting Digital Arts & Technology pilot program––the Monthly Artist Showcase––a “Live TV studio taping” event with youth performances and Artist Q&As that are broadcast to our new public access Upstar TV channel, local radio stations like Free Radio Santa Cruz, and other social media channels. Produced by staff and youth leaders, our young people generate the content, rehearse new songs, promote, set up and host the event while learning all the skills involved in streaming and broadcasting live content. We’re thrilled to share footage from this exciting event launch, which features youth artists CB3 and Dina Ro.
