Triple P—Positive Parenting Program

Sunset Youth Services is proud to announce the completion of our first Triple P—Positive Parenting Program. Triple P is a twelve week intensive, evidence based parenting class. For more information about Triple P check out the San Francisco Parent Training Institute.

The class started with 14 parent participants and ended with 12 graduates! The facilitator, Dawn Stueckle, was accredited in the fall and thoroughly enjoyed teaching the class. Each class started with dinner and included quality childcare. Sunset Church graciously donated their building which was the perfect fit for our class. Facebook Photo Album>

Along with multiple stories and anecdotal evidence that the program made a big difference, Pre and Post Assessments were completed by each participant and the results were tabulated by The Parent Training Institute and given back to us. It was thrilling to see the data proving the positive impact the 12 week course had on each parent and therefore their child(ren).
