Case Management for Youth and Young Adults
Violence Prevention and Case Management
Case Managers build lasting relationships with in-risk youth and young adults who are or have been involved in the juvenile or criminal justice system. They assess needs, identify options, work with the youth and family to develop a plan of action, and provide encouragement, support and advocacy along the way. The goal for each case manager is to build a relationship of trust and mentor the youth while meeting tangible needs.
Sunset Youth Services is also active city wide with policy as it pertains to the juvenile and criminal justice systems. We are members of the Juvenile Justice Providers Association (JJPA) and the Street Intervention Coalition (SIC) working to make better policies and advocating on the broader scale for restorative justice.
